I, Nox Meriil, am a Vancouver, British Columbia based photographer, cosplayer, and graphic designer. I began cosplaying in 2009, and discovered my love of photography by taking cosplay photos of myself and my friends. In 2015, I attended Cornish College of the Arts for graphic design. In my free time, I created cosplay music videos on YouTube. Loving this more than design, I decided in 2017 to go the United Kingdom to attend the University of South Wales for film production. I graduated with a BA (Honours) in Film in 2020. Graduating into a pandemic forced me to focus on projects I could work on my by myself or within my small social bubble. This allowed me to grow my skills in still photography and short-form video content.

After freelancing during the majority of lockdown, I was offered a job in real estate marketing thanks to my experience in graphic design. After several years of this, I decided to return to my passions and am currently attending university once more for a certificate in Fashion Marketing, where I am growing my skills in fashion photography, styling, and editorial design.
